Another Florida cop proven to be a liar

released a series of internal affairs reports detailing investigations into workers compensation fraud and an off-duty officer’s involvement in a one-car accident while under the influence of alcohol.

A Clearwater police officer exaggerated the extent of an on-the-job injury and inappropriately received workers compensation benefits, a department report concluded.

In September 2013, Officer Brian Jerard reported a work injury, the nature of which was removed from a report released Wednesday, and received extensive medical treatment. As of June 2, 2014, about $59,507 was paid toward the injury claim, including $29,376 paid directly to the officer.

Jerard knowingly misrepresented the extent of his injury and made false statements to doctors and those processing his claim, police officials said.

Pinellas County prosecutors dropped a corresponding insurance fraud case when Jerard agreed to resign from his post.

During Jerard’s medical treatment, doctors reported they began to suspect this injuries were not as severe as he was telling them and city officials. State investigators reviewed video surveillance of Jerard pushing a cart and loading groceries without visible pain and completing other tasks.

In January 2014 video shows Jerard limping to and from his car outside a doctor’s office, but video surveillance recorded later the same day shows Jerard dragging two trash cans up his driveway with no limp.

In March 2014, a video captured Jerard pushing a cart containing a bathroom counter top, several boxes of large tile and a boxed sink, and unloading the items into his garage without assistance.

Doctors who treated Jerard viewed the videos, and said his activities were a “stark contrast with what he had been reporting and displaying to them,” the police report says.

Confronted with the evidence against him, Jerard, who was hired in December 2002, resigned from the department last week.”

One simple question; Has any testimony he ever given been rescinded?

This sworn officer of the court has been proven a liar and anyone convicted on his testimony should now be cleared.

It is quite commonplace that cops lie when they make their reports fit their narrative.

Just remember if you are called to jury duty, do your civic duty and then acquit if the basis of the complaint is a cops testimony.

Drunk cop asked to leave casino, beats canine partner in parking lot

Security workers claimed they had asked Berry to leave the casino before observing him returning back to his room to collect his things with his K-9 partner.

The surveillance footage shows an obviously upset Berry pick the animal up by its collar, throw it on the ground, and repeatedly punch it in the face.

The docile canine can been seen trotting beside its handler, waging its tail, as it endures abuse that would make any pet owner cringe.

After the attack escalates, the dog is able to escape, and runs back to the casino. The footage shows Berry run after the animal before striking it multiple times outside a vestibule, police say.

Berry was initially asked to leave the premises, for making “some unwanted advances” and “appeared to be under the influence” of alcohol, security staff said, adding that he “repeatedly made obscene gestures towards personnel” after he was first confronted and told to leave.

Ramsey County officials say he was sent home from the trials, and put on administrative leave. He was charged with assaulting a public safety dog and animal cruelty.”

What a hero in blue.

I am sure that if he had a wife he would go home and knock her around at night.

Apparently he doesn’t and since there were no citizens around to take his anger out on, he had to kick the dog around.

What a bucket of human chum.

Being in blue doesn’t make you a hero.

Wearing a badge doesn’t make you a good guy.

Bullies love to order people around and be in charge.

Remember this the next time you have to take a cop’s word over that of your fellow citizen.

If you do get called to jury duty, do your civic duty

And acquit

Or take the word of the hero in blue

Woof!

Deputy beats woman who wanted tampon, lies and files false charges

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. –

Broward County sheriff’s correctional deputies battered and bruised Audra West while she was held in jail last year. The question is: was the beating necessary to restrain West or was it handed out by a deputy who wanted to teach her a lesson?

West, a tourist from Texas, admits she cursed at Deputy Kristin Connelly about 10 hours after she was arrested on disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges at the Elbo Room on Fort Lauderdale Beach, where she had too much to drink.

West said she began menstruating while wearing nothing but her jail jumpsuit and asked for a tampon. When Connelly told her to ask nicely, West did, but Connelly still refused (the jail doesn’t give out tampons, only sanitary pads). That’s when West told Connelly, “(expletive) you.”

“A newly-released video shows what happened next. Connelly, standing behind a desk, begins putting on latex gloves and approaches West. Deputy Henry Lawrence tries to block Connelly from getting to West. A witness also seen in the video, an inmate who spoke with Local 10 on condition her name not be used, testified that Lawrence told his fellow deputy, “Don’t do it, don’t do it.” But Connelly gets past Lawrence and the moment she snaps on the second glove, she snatches West from her chair and begins to wrench her across the room.”

Connelly and Lawrence push West onto a desk and then onto the floor, where Connelly controls her and pushes West into a small changing/strip search room. Deputies Joyce Johnson and Dorothy Jenkins immediately follow her inside the room, which is not equipped with a video camera, and the door is closed. West is escorted out by Connelly and Johnson about 3 1/2 minutes later. West suffers the brunt of her injuries — a badly blackened eye and bruises about her body — while inside the room.

“I was on the floor on my stomach and (Connelly) punched me on this side of the face,” said West. “And I was being kicked and stepped on from behind, and she was punching me in the face. She punched me in the eye several times.”

the only report initially filed on the incident by deputies was an “inmate disciplinary report,” done by Johnson for West, who complained of being attacked by Connelly and the other deputies. In it, Johnson wrote that West refused to enter the dressing room to change into a different-colored North Broward Detention Facility uniform and was verbally disruptive.

“When Deputy Connelly attempted to escort West, she attacked Connelly,” wrote Johnson.

The file indicates that Connelly wrote nothing about the incident. Six days later, West filed an internal affairs complaint against Connelly and the other deputies, and the BSO began an investigation. The following day, Connelly filed a probable cause affidavit filing criminal charges against West, alleging she had assaulted her and resisted arrest. She alleged suffered a facial injury and skinned knees in the altercation, injuries she failed to report at the time.”

At least she went home safe , right?

Remember this the next time you deal with police. If things don’t fit their narrative they WILL lie about it to make it fit.

More importantly, remember this if you are called up to jury duty. Go ahead be a juror and do your civic duty.

And when you do, make sure that the citizen on trial, the one who could be you, may have a string of false charges against them.

Remember that a lot cops lie all of the time and use their position and power vindictively against innocent citizens.

Vote not guilty when the case rests on police testimony.

This isn’t Mayberry anymore and Both Andy and Barney are long dead. This is the new militarized police force that has armored vehicles, assault weapons and paramilitary training.

Don’t take a cops word for it simply because he is a “Sworn officer of the court” because that means nothing. If it did I would not be writing this blog.

Cop shoots dog, arrests owner for obstruction

From the UK daily mail

“A video posted yesterday on YouTube shows the grisly shooting of a dog by a police officer in Hawthorne, California.

The 130-pound, 3-year-old Rottweiler named Max was shot to death after he escaped through a window in a parked car and ran over to his master, Leon Rosby, who was being arrested for filming the scene on his phone.

The video (watch original on YouTube) shows Rosby, 52, walking his dog Sunday around 7 p.m. near a house with several police squad cars parked outside

They are killing your kids, your grandparents, your dogs ,your husbands, your wives and  all in the name of obstruction.  Florida’s state statute 843.02 is the one that allows them to kill and imprison citizens in our state. By simply “opposing” an officer, you are guilty of a crime and may be  bankrupted trying to defend yourself.  Again, ask yourself who was behind these statutes that have shredded the constitution and our freedom.
Please remember that these are supposed to be public servants.  I say its time to get rid of the tax payers burden these jack booted thugs have become.  We as Americans and a so called free people do not need or want them.  The cops have become the enemy of the people. They are the hand maidens of the politicians and the face of tyranny.

Insecure, Frustrated Bully With Something To Prove Considering Career In Law Enforcement

“RALEIGH, NC—Calling it his lifelong dream, local man Brendan Lockhart, an insecure and perpetually frustrated bully who believes he has something to prove to the world, told reporters Thursday that he is seriously considering a career in law enforcement.

Lockhart, a recent high-school graduate who sources confirmed is plagued by resentment, self-doubt, unexpected fits of rage, and has always had a penchant for tormenting those who are smaller and weaker than him, explained that he feels he is well suited to serve as a police officer.

“I’ve always wanted to be a cop,” said Lockhart, whose paranoia and inferiority complex constantly haunt him, leading him to lash out at others in order to convince them he is in control. “I know it’s a tough line of work, but I think I’ve got what it takes to earn my shield and get out there and keep the peace.”

“This is the job I was born to do,” continued the man whose main goal in life is to prove to others that he is strong, confident, and not afraid.

Friends and family confirmed that Lockhart, an unpredictable, petty individual who frequently loses his temper when he feels he is being threatened or disrespected, has in recent months been inquiring into joining the ranks of the Raleigh Police Department. In this role, the man with a massive chip on his shoulder and no visible sense of empathy would be tasked with peacefully resolving disputes and evenhandedly administering justice to members of the community over whom he would have official power.”

Many times there is inherent truth in satire. Satire often says what everyone is already thinking but is afraid to say.

C’mon, this couldn’t really be true could it? Well look at this statistic from the purple berets, a woman’s advocacy group based out of Sonoma county Ca.

Domestic violence is 2 to 4 times more common in police families than in the general population. In two separate studies, 40% of police officers self-report that they have used violence against their domestic partners within the last year. In the general population, it’s estimated that domestic violence occurs in about 10% of families”

Florida hero in blue arrested for stealing money and property from motorists

“Today, the Justice Department announced that a grand jury in the Southern District of Florida charged Miami Dade Police Department (MDPD) Detective William Kostopoulos, 47, with using his law enforcement authority to violate motorists’ civil rights.

The indictment charges Kostopoulos with making traffic stops of three motorists in order to steal their money and property, in violation of the motorists’ rights under the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution to be free from unreasonable seizures of their property.  The indictment also charges Kostopoulos with making misleading statements in order to prevent the communication of information about his alleged crimes to federal law enforcement officers.

Just a few bad apples? I don’t think so. Especially in Florida there is a culture of corruption.

Remember the next time a cop is accusing you or someone else that it is just as likely that they are actually the crook

But hey, as long as they go home safe, that’s all that matters.

Right?

Florida teens with suicide pack shoot cop who pulled them over for equipment violation

“There was nothing, from what we can tell at this point, that gave any indication of any type of incident that was going to occur.  The trooper was simply talking to them about their lights,” Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey said. “We don’t know what prompted the individual to start shooting at the trooper.  Obviously, that is one of the things that our agents will be focused on, trying to figure out what led to that moment.”

Terryn, of Palm Bay, died in the shooting. Deputies said McNeil and Terryn were dating and had allegedly established a plan to drive to Ohio, where McNeil is from, and commit suicide.

McNeil took a handgun and money from a relative’s residence and had started driving north on I-95 in McNeil’s vehicle. After the shooting, McNeil attempted to flee the scene and struck a boat that was being pulled by a pickup truck on SR 520.”

Guess a cop never knows who they are going to pull over or what they might be going through.

I wonder why the kid hated cops so much?

At least on the upside for the trooper, the kid hadn’t been practicing zombie kills.

Prisons Without Walls: We’re All Inmates in the American Police State

John W. Whitehead, Constitutional Attorney

“It is perfectly possible for a man to be out of prison and yet not free—to be under no physical constraint and yet be a psychological captive, compelled to think, feel and act as the representatives of the national state, or of some private interest within the nation wants him to think, feel and act. . . . To him the walls of his prison are invisible and he believes himself to be free.”—Aldous Huxley, A Brave New World Revisited

Free worlders” is prison slang for those who are not incarcerated behind prison walls.  Supposedly, those fortunate souls live in the “free world.” However, appearances can be deceiving.

“As I got closer to retiring from the Federal Bureau of Prisons,” writes former prison employee Marlon Brock, “it began to dawn on me that the security practices we used in the prison system were being implemented outside those…

Cops shoot at fleeing suspect, crowd opens fire

“Shots were fired Sunday at Cleveland police officers in a foot chase of a suspect near the site of a boy’s fatal encounter with officers last year, police said.

Cleveland Police Chief Calvin Williams told reporters Sunday afternoon that officers responded that morning to a report of six men waving guns and a man at the scene fled police when they tried to question him. The chief said the man pointed a gun at police and an officer fired four rounds without hitting the man, who continued running.

A number of unidentified people then began firing at officers from behind as police continued chasing the man, who was apprehended a few blocks away, Williams said.”

Just when they thought it was safe to go in the water. I believe a new era in police/citizen relations is on the horizon. There is an entire segment of the population that has had enough.

Enough lying, enough corruption, enough endless brutality. In the end they will have brought what is coming upon themselves.
