  • Newark, New Jersey: An officer was suspended and arrested for pointing his gun at a man in an off-duty incident. ow.ly/U5oOc
  • Los Angeles County, California: A deputy pled not guilty to assault and battery against a bartender for a 2014 bar fight. ow.ly/U5paK
  • Update: Ramsey County, Minnesota (First reported 07-10-15): A retired deputy pled guilty to selling merchandise to a pawn shop that had been criminal evidence he stole while he was still employed by the County. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and ordered to pay restitution. ow.ly/U5po4
  • New York, New York: The City settled a lawsuit with a deaf and mute woman who was wrongly arrested for $750,000. The officer failed to report her need for a translator.  ow.ly/U6Ee8
  • Lafayette Parish, Louisiana: A deputy was arrested for smuggling drugs into the jail. ow.ly/U6F6e
  • Mercer County, New Jersey: An officer was suspended and charged for accessing a law enforcement database and sharing mugshot of suspect shot by officers. ow.ly/U6Fyf
