“SHELBY, Mich. (WOOD) — The former Village of Shelby police chief has been arraigned on six criminal charges.

Robert Wilson, 62, was arraigned on Tuesday in Oceana County on one count of embezzlement of $50,000 or more but less than $100,000, and five counts of filing a false certification. His bond was set at $10,000. He will be back in court on Aug. 22.

Wilson is accused of performing 699 salvage inspections between December 2013 and November 2015 without turning the fees over to the village. He allegedly didn’t tell village officials that he was collecting inspection fees, according to a news release from the Michigan Attorney General’s Office.

It can cost up to $100 for a police officer to perform an inspection on a salvage vehicle, the release said.”

Look at that face

Do you know who that is?

That’s a hero

That is a guy who gets to be held above the rest of us

In a court of law, as a sworn officer, his testimony is automatically given the weight of truth

This man is so exalted that he is given permission to kill other citizens if he finds it justified

A hero so great that he is the Chief of the other heroes

Praise is heaped on him for risking his life out there every day

Until who he really is comes to light

The next time someone tells you a cop is a hero because he wears blue, make sure you remember this guy

The next time someone says that all that matters is that they go home safe, remember this guy

The next time you get pulled over on a dark highway by a guy with a gun and handcuffs, remember this guy

A few bad apples?

The whole bushel is rotten and needs to be thrown out
